Mount Charleston

Mt Charleston is part of the Spring Mountain Recreation Area that lies west of Las Vegas. Mount Charleston is one of the favored areas for Vegas residents. In the winter, come and enjoy the snow play. In the summer, many use the cool mountains as a relief from the hot days and there are camp sites for those who what to stay the night. The Mountain has a couple of restaurants but you may choose to bring a lunch and eat at many picnic sites, Mt Charleston is a short drive from the Vegas strip. Take US 95 North then exit at Kyle Canyon which is Nevada Route 157.
